Grazing Goats Return

Goats will be grazing along the Clear Creek Trail near the Kipling West Trailhead through the end of October.

The goats will be in fenced in grazing areas north and south of the main Clear Creek Trail. Please DO NOT feed or touch the goats. Keep dogs away from the fence.

Road and bridge work starts Wednesday on Sheridan Boulevard between 25th and 52nd Avenues

Starting Wed. Sept. 20, the Colorado Department of Transportation and Jalisco International Inc. will begin a roadway improvement project on Colorado Highway 95 (Sheridan Boulevard) between 25th and 52nd Avenues with nighttime paving.

WRPD Dog Walker Watch Class Rescheduled for Oct. 10


The Wheat Ridge Police Department (WRPD) Dog Walker Watch program will host its next Dog Walker Watch class at City Hall, Oct. 10 from 6-7 p.m. at City Hall (7500 W. 29th Ave). The free class is open to Wheat Ridge residents and dogs must be licensed.

Section of Clear Creek Trail Closed

In conjunction with the Prospect Park construction project, a section of the regional Clear Creek Trail will be closed through October 6th.

TLC Cleanup Days Planned for Saturday, Sept. 23

Clean Up Days

The Wheat Ridge Police Department, Localworks and the faith-based community will continue TLC Cleanup Days Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Congregational Church on 6310 W. 29th Ave. in Wheat Ridge.

Dumpsters are available from 8 a.m. until noon, or until dumpsters are full. Green waste, trash and recyclables are all accepted.
