City of Wheat Ridge Employees are supporting CCASA and survivors of sexual violence by wearing denim on Wed., April 25, 2018.

The City of Wheat Ridge is supporting the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CCASA) Annual Colorado Denim Day event on April 25, 2018, in an effort to raise awareness about sexual assault throughout Colorado and raise funds to support their mission to promote safety, justice, and healing for survivors while working toward the elimination of sexual violence in our communities.

On Colorado Denim Day, April 25, 2018, employees of state agencies, businesses, and other groups in Colorado including the City of Wheat Ridge, are supporting CCASA by donating $5 in exchange for wearing jeans on Denim Day. Wearing jeans that day is a conversation-starter and a visual sign of support for survivors of sexual violence.

Colorado Denim Day demonstrates the power of communities coming together to support survivors and take a stand against sexual violence. Wear denim and join Team Wheaties, donate at
