Heart Healthy Walk with Mayor Bud Starker

Heart Healthy Wheat Ridge Week kicks off Mon., Feb.19 with a Walk with Mayor Starker at Crown Hill from 10 - 11 a.m. Plan to arrive by 10 a.m. in the 26th Ave./Garrison parking lot. The walk will occur whether rain, light snow or cold temperatures.

Heart Healthy Wheat Ridge Week is February 19 - 25, 2018. Heart Healthy Wheat Ridge Week is a partnership between the City of Wheat Ridge Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) Committee, Lutheran Medical Center, Jefferson County Public Health, Localworks, and local businesses and residents.

Throughout the week, Wheat Ridge residents can also attend a variety of free heart-healthy events including yoga, nutritional classes, screenings, and farm tours. Residents who attend at least four heart-healthy activities earn a t-shirt and a spot on the Heart Healthy Wall of Fame.
