Tea with the Treasurer, Mayor and City Council May 4, 2017

Join the Mayor, Treasurer and City Council members for Tea with the Treasurer on Thursday, May 4 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center in the Columbine Room at 4005 Kipling Street.

Mayor Joyce Jay will share information about the new Environmental Sustainability Committee. City Treasurer Jerry DiTullio will provide an update on financial reports and City Council members Janeece Hoppe and Monica Duran will provide additional insight into plans for projects throughout the City. City Manager Patrick Goff will share updates including Investing 4 The Future, the four projects funded by 2E, and the recent bond sale. In addition, developers for the Corners at Wheat Ridge, West End 38thand Applewood Shopping Center will be available to offer updates on progress at those locations. Other guest speakers include Wheat Ridge Police Chief Dan Brennan and a representative from Localworks. Members of ATAT will also be on hand with information about cycling related issues as they look forward to a busy summer season. A question and answer session will follow the presentations. Residents are encouraged to come to this informative community meeting with questions and concerns.

Babysitting will be available in the classroom directly opposite the Columbine Room. Ages allowed are 6 months to 10 years with no diaper changing services provided. Parents will be asked to sign in and leave a cell number. Staff will text if the parent is needed
