Outside Agency Program
The City of Wheat Ridge is committed to enhancing the quality of life for others and the Outside Agency Program is one way the City gives back to the community. Outside Agency Program Report 2012-2018
The application period for 2020 Outside Agency funds opens on April 1, 2019.
Outside Agency Fund Applicants: Outside agencies interested in applying for funds must submit an application and be prepared to give a short 10-minute presentation to the Outside Agency Program Committee as well as answer any questions. Applications are available to request funds for the agency or for sponsorship of an agency's special event.
2020 Outside Agency Program Event Sponsorship Application
Fund request applications for 2020 are due Friday, April 26, 2019.
- Non-denominational and non-sectarian organizations which were organized in the State of Colorado
- Have a principle place of business is in Jefferson County, Colorado and were organized in the State of Colorado
- All applications will be reviewed to ensure that they meet the established guidelines for the program based on the criteria listed on the application.
- Priority shall be given to those organizations that provide programs and services that benefit and enhance the quality of life for residents of Wheat Ridge.
Outside Agency Committee: The review committee views funding requests, attends presentations, and recommends funding allocations to City Council for the Outside Agency Program. One Wheat Ridge resident from each City Council District will be selected to serve on the committee for two budget cycles (fiscal years 2020 and 2021) to expire July 2020.
Applications for the 2019 Outside Agency Committee were due on Monday, April 15, 2019.
