Outside Agency Contributions


The City of Wheat Ridge is committed to enhancing the quality of life for others and the Outside Agency Contributions Program is one way the City gives back to the community. Outside Agency Program Report 2012-2018 

The application period for 2020 Outside Agency Contributions opens on April 1.

Outside Agency Applicants:
Outside agencies interested in applying for funds must submit an application and be prepared to give a short 10-minute presentation to the Review Committee. Agencies should also be prepared to answer questions from the Committee. 

Applications for 2020 contributions are due Monday, April 15, 2019

Review Committee:
The review committee views funding requests, attends presentations, and recommends funding allocations to City Council for the Outside Agency Program. One Wheat Ridge resident from each City Council District will be selected to serve on the committee for two budget cycles (fiscal years 2020 and 2021) to expire July 2020.

 Applications for the 2019 Review Committee are due Friday, April 19. 2019.

We invite:

  • Non-denominational and non-sectarian organizations which were organized in the State of Colorado 
  • Have a principle place of business is in Jefferson County, Colorado and were organized in the State of Colorado 
  • All applications will be reviewed to ensure that they meet the established guidelines for the program based on the criteria listed on the application.
  • Priority shall be given to those organizations that provide programs and services that benefit and enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Wheat Ridge.
