Outside Agency Contributions


The City of Wheat Ridge is committed to enhancing the quality of life for others and the Outside Agency Contributions Program is one way the City gives back to the community. Outside Agency Program Report 2012-2018

Outside Agency Applicants:
Outside agencies interested in applying for funds must submit an application and be prepared to give a short 10-minute presentation to the Review Committee. Agencies should also be prepared to answer questions from the Committee. 

Applications for 2018 contributions are due Friday, May 5th, 2017.

Presentations from requesting agencies will be scheduled between 6-8:30pm on May 11th, May 18th, May 25th, May 31st. The presentations will be at City Hall. Contact Carly for scheduling.  

Review Committee: The review committee views funding requests and recommends funding allocations to City Council for the Outside Agency Program. Two Wheat Ridge residents from each City Council District were selected to serve on the committee for two budget cycles (fiscal years 2017 and 2018) to expire July 2017.

We invite:

  • Non-denominational and non-sectarian organizations which
    Were organized in the State of Colorado 
    • Have a principle place of business is in Jefferson County, Colorado and were organized in the State of Colorado 
    • All applications will be reviewed to ensure that they meet the established guidelines for the program based on the criteria listed on the application.
    • Priority shall be given to those organizations that provide programs and services that benefit and enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Wheat Ridge.
