Proof of submission is required from the Fire Department with the permit application on the following types of projects: new commercial structures, interior remodels, fire sprinklers, etc.
All fire districts plan review/permitting is now submitted online only. When submitting your permit application, provide a copy of the online submittal confirmation. This can be the printed email or a printed copy of the confirmation page.

Demolition and Asbestos Abatement
Commercial Structures built before 1988, in which 260 linear feet of pipe wrap, 160 square feet of other surfaces (walls, etc.), or the aggregate volume of a 55 gallon drum of removed materials will require asbestos testing and potentially abatement prior to issuance of the demolition permit.
In the event that the demolition work has been performed prior to the issuance of the permit, a letter from CDPHE containing the project address and an acknowledgement of awareness that the demolition was conducted without the permit and that no further action is necessary on the part of the applicant shall be required to be submitted with the permit application.
